Branding for U.S. Department of Education RSN & SLO
Funded by the Education Recovery Act as part of president Obama's initiative, The Race to the Top (R2T) program was built on the framework of comprehensive reform in K-12 education. While I was working as the art director at ICF International, we were selected by the U.S. Department of Education to manage the Reform Support Network (RSN) implementing many aspects of R2T. I was tasked to build a team of creatives for branding of this new initiative. We started with the logo design and once the brand was approved we moved on to UX/UI design of the Students Learning Objectives (SLO) online toolkit in 2011 followed by design of many online resources and publications throughout 2012-2014.
